Train 201 at 02.00 (or a bit later) calling at Abu Hamed Friday 08.00,
Dagash 10.30, Berber 23.00, Atbara from Friday 23.45 to Saturday 02.00,
Ed Damer Saturday 03.00, Shendi 09.30, arriving Khartoum New Central
Station Saturday 17.00
A monthly freight service is running between Atbara and Wadi Halfa,
leaving Atbara on Saturday of the first week at 8.00, journey up to 3
days, returning to Atbara one week later, this service is not
guaranteed, in some cases it conveys a third class car for local
passenger journeys

on Friday, to Kosti arriving at 10.30, to Tendelti
arriving at 15.00, Ar-Rahad arriving at 21.00 and El-Obeid arriving
Friday at 22.30
Train 502 departs El-Obeid on Monday after arrival of train 501 at
07.00 , Ar-Rahad departs at 08.30, Tendelti depart at 14.45, Kosti
depart at 19.30, arriving at Sennar Junction on Tuesday at 00.00 and at
Khartoum New Central Station on Tuesday at 10.30

Train 552 leaves Nyala on Sunday immediately after arrival of train 551
at 22.00, it stops at every station, it departs from Babanusa station
Monday 17.00, Ar-Rahad station Tuesday 12.00, Kosti Tuesday 22.00
and arrives at Khartoum New Central Station Wednesday at 14.30

operates over this line, about twice a month, passengers are eventually
conveyed

Freight services operates
several times a year from Kassala to Haiya Junction and Bur Sudan
A mixed service operates monthly from Kassala on the second Sunday of
the month to Gedaref arriving there the next day, journey up to 18
hours; returning from Gedaref Tuesday, arriving Kassala next day; this
service is liable to suspension at any time.
Bananusa

From Babanusa to Muglad a
monthly freight service is operating on request. From Muglad to Aweil
no service reportet. From Aweil to Waw tracks partially lifted, no
service possible.
Abu
Hamed - Karima
An occasional freight
service from Atbara runs via Abu Hamed to Karima, when it is running it
leaves Atbara the second or third Saturday of the month, it is not
known if passengers are conveyed, the train returns after duty, about 4
days later.
